Thanks aurick and Pixologic - it worked:)
Hello I have problems activating my zbrush on line it says the serial number or registration email is wrong, I tried many times also with different browsers but same results. I did sent an email to support.
Your order was placed during the period yesterday during which our activation server was down. As a result, we had to manually add your serial number into the activation system. I have now taken care of that for you. There should be no further problems.
Thank you for fast service, everything working now.
Activation works now. Thank you.
But my version for Mac crashes down every 30 minutes…
Edit. NM The private forum is probably what Im seeking.
hi, i was wondering if anyone knows if the activation sever is down? I’ve tried to activate Zbrush a few times over the past 12 hours or so but the activation page never loads. i have tried with both Firefox and internet explorer so i don’t think its a browser issue. any advise would be appreciated.
Thanks
edit:
seems to be working again now, though i did have to add an exception to Firefox for the pages security certificate before it would load up properly which was a bit odd as I’ve never had to do that before. still I’m activated again now
Hi there !
Since few days, I have to re-activate (web) Zbrush on every start up. Registration works perfectly, state it’s already activated on this computer of course.
I thought it might be because I did activate my Zbrush on another computer for freelance work, but I did de-activate it there…
Is there a way to re-init this in some way ? (osX 10.6.8)
Thanks.
It sounds like something got messed up in your permissions.
First, select the ZBrush OSX 4R4 folder. Use Cmd+I to get info on the folder. (Make sure you have the folder – not something within the folder.) At the lower right of the Info window there’s a padlock. If you don’t see it, click the Sharing and Permissions line to expand that part of the window. Unlock permissions, then check to see what it says next to the “Everyone” user group.
- If it doesn’t say “Read & Write”, change it to that, then click the gear icon underneath and choose the option to apply to enclosed items.
- If it does say “Read & Write”, change it to something else. Apply to enclosed items. Change it back to Read & Write. Apply to enclosed items again.
Now use the Finder to do a search for the ZBrushData folder. Do the same steps for that folder.
Once done, this problem should be resolved. If you continue to have trouble, please submit a Support ticket.
Thanks for feedback.
Sadly doesn’t work Permissions were on R/W, I tweaked back and forth for both folders… but didn’t seamed to do it. While doing so I noticed that folders of “ZBrushOSX 4.0” and “ZBrushOSX 4R2” did have a Pixologic icon stamped on them, while “ZBrushOSX 4R4” is a default folder icon…
So, could it be something about installation? Thought I could keep previous version for retro-compatibility and things… Should I copy/paste/erase them ? What’s odd is I don’t remember having this until some weeks before …
I’ll send my tickets to support if I really get mad about it.
When you get that message, there’s a button to View Activation History. Clicking it shows a list of the activations currently counting against your serial number. If any in that list are no good (such as if you reinstalled the OS), check it off in the list and then submit the form. This creates a Support ticket with the info we need to fix the serial number.
Turn around time is usually within one hour [COLOR="#FFFFFF"]during normal business hours. After it has been processed, you’ll get an email letting you know and then you’ll be able to do Web Activation successfully.
If you are going to be reinstalling your OS or making some other major change in the future, simply remember to first use Web Deactivation from within ZBrush in the Zplugin palette. That way you won’t have to wait for Support to fix your license.
Hi!
I’m actually stuck in a kind of “activation loop”…
Every time I open Zbrush, the programm tell me that “the license is not activated!”
So i Clic on web activation, I fill the “registration and activation” form and request a new single use activation code.
So you give me a new activation key but when I close the programm and open it later, I have to redo all the process again…
It is not a huge problem, but it is a bit anoying
Do you have a solution?
Thanks!
I just tried it out and it works like a charm, thx for the reply!
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Hi all, i’ve a problem too, when i launch zbrush i try to activate it via web but nothing happened, browser doesn’t go to the form page, exist a direct link to the web page with the form to get activation code?
The first thing is to check and see if your browser opened behind ZBrush where you can’t see it. If on Windows, Alt+Tab to see. If on Mac, check the dock by moving your pointer to that edge of the screen.
If your browser window did not open, the next most common thing is Firefox. It’s fussy sometimes. Switching to use a different browser as your default browser – at least temporarily – will normally resolve the issue.
The final thing to try would be to make sure that all browser windows are closed before launching ZBrush and trying web activation. If your browser still doesn’t open, exit ZBrush and open it yourself. Leave it open while launching ZBrush to try again, then switch to the window to see if it received the command from ZBrush.
If all of that fails (it’s rare, but sometimes your OS refuses to cooperate), you can start phone activation and write down the request code. Now copy this into your browser (going to the link won’t do anything yet):
Windows: https://register.pixologic.com/activation/?pid=ZBrush450&o=FS0Y&ref=
Mac: https://register.pixologic.com/activation/?pid=ZBrush450&o=855M&ref=
Add your request code (including dashes) to the end of the URL and press Enter/Return to go to the page. You’ll now be able to fill the form out and get your activation code.
Please note that these links will only work for ZBrush 4R5. They will not work for earlier releases.
Thanks, i’ve try to install chrome, but nothing happened, so i go to that link and i discovered that link have a changeable part.
win:
https://register.pixologic.com/activation/?pid=ZBrush450&o=FS0Y&ref= (4r5)
https://register.pixologic.com/activation/?pid=ZBrush440&o=FS0Y&ref= (4r4)
https://register.pixologic.com/activation/?pid=ZBrush430&o=FS0Y&ref= (4r2b)
Consider i’ve purchased 4r3, when i submit ticket, operator told me “I’ve just had Cleverbridge refresh your download link for another 14 days.” but with 4r5 my key doesn’t work, so you or someone know the link for 4r3? Than i can upgrade step by step via Zupgrade. I think it could be work…
At last, this monday i will call 001 888 748 5967
Hi, I purchased a mac version of zbrush and noticed it said you can install the license two times. Is it possible to get one pc and one mac license? I have a mac desktop and pc laptop. Thanks!
I think i have some sort of equivalent problem
I just installed the update of zbrush4r6 through the zplugin menu, the installation worked like a charm
But when I click on Web activation to register:
- it open the EULA page, i accept it
- It writes briefly “opening www.pixologic.com/activation” at this point no webpage opens
- it goes on Activation requested! [enter Activation code] [Cancel Activation]
Is there a manual way to access the pixologic activation webpage ?
