Zbrush 2020 zmodeler extrude problem

my zmodeler extrude will auto weld some close points. that’s really …
when i use 2019 zbrush it’s not happend it’s just happeing into 2020 .
there is a screen shot. did some one know where can disenable this setting.

It works the same as it always has for me here on Windows. If you’d like to extrude without QMesh’s snapping and welding , use the Polygon > extrude function instead.

You can also adjust the snap/attraction settings for the Qmesh tool in the lower portion of the Zmodeler menu.

Otherwise, this is usually an issue with using the wrong size brush for ZModeler (set the brush radius to size one so it only targets your intended elements) or an issue with the mesh itself being abnormally small or large in the worldspace, which can cause all sorts of weird issues.

If you feel there is an issue present on your system that isn’t present on mine, you will have to create a support ticket, and provide them with the information they will need to re-create the issue.

Thank u .
i tried what u told me .
it’s actully is my model size is too small .
btw i don’t know why i use the human model form daz to maya , it’s looking model size are normal.
but when i import to zbursh , zbursh will auto trun my model to a very small size.
and i try to open a zbrush’s lightbox project (a sphere ) and i try to insert another one sphere.
then i import my another models. it’s will looking very big. then a use zmodel to extrude it will not automatic weld some colse points.
so now, im sure it’s cause my model size.
 2020 is fun. lol when i use 2019 never happend something like this!

When you import a mesh into zbrush, by default or into a tool with a Tool > Export> Scale Factor of zero, it will auto-scale and center the mesh for the best results in Zbrush. Some of the reasons for this are explained in this video. It records the settings necessary to restore the mesh to its original size/position in the Tool > Export menu.

As long as you don’t change these settings, or directly change the scale/offset of the mesh, it will export back at the original size.
