Zb in dual monitor

I don´t see how to do that… maybe it is impossible… but
can I use zbrush in dual monitor?

thanks

I run it on a dual monitor system. But it stay’s in one of the two monitors and I have not found a way to expand it over both. However, I did not really look for that…

You can resize the ZBrush window so that it will stretch onto the second monitor, but you can’t detach parts of the ZBrush interface to move to it separately.

See the Practical Guide – this subject is touched on there.

It’s Sunday Aurick. GO TO THE BEACH! :laughing:small_orange_diamond:laughing:small_orange_diamond:laughing:

PS:I looked into the practical guide and can’t even find the word ‘monitor’ mentioned…

PPS:It’s actually really easy… dohhh. Just hit the resize button (next to the X button) and then just drag it as large as you like…

HAHAHA Excellent Lemo!

Cool on droped canevas, but if you plan to sculpt in 3D with such a resolution you will need huge amoun of ram!

it is like draw in a magazine!.. having a separation in the middle every moment.
I hope find more support about it in futures versions of ZB.

I just tried it myself. Kindof annoying though… Your eyes will normally focus in the middle, but this will be met with the dividing line between both monitors.

Rather than stretching the canvas across the two monitors, simply rearrange your interface a bit. Move the items from the left shelf to the right shelf, open the right tray to hold any palettes you want open all the time, and size the interface so that the break between monitors is at the border between the canvas and the right shelf.

Remember, too, that you can add a lot more to the shelf if you want. It expands quite a ways before you run out of room.

All we need are those glasses which filter the divider out. Like those old 3d glasses for the paper pictures. Will just be heavy to wear a helmet with two 17" LCD’s hanging in front of it. But hey, you never know what geeks are willing to do.
