Hello everyone. Started modelling for a new movie and I would appriciate some c and c along the way…
Story is about a taxi who wants nothing more than to be a hotrod…
Love the stylized look and feel of the vehicles. Lots of personality. Well done. My only crit would be that there are no seams between panels (such as the hood). Maybe this is intentional. Also, the “eyes” of the vehicles might need to stand out a bit more (maybe larger and exaggerated?). With all the chrome around them, they are getting a bit lost and washed out.
Post more updates. Looking forward to seeing progress and the animation!
Thanks for posting MontanaMan. You are right its intentional. And I made the eyes larger and tuned down their luminance… thank again man… Heres an update…

stylized cars look great and the update on the hotrod makes it way better. keep it going and good luck fpr the movie.
Thanks for posting Tintop… Heres a small update on the gasstation and hotrod…
Very cool stuff. It would be great if you could show something of your workflow and especially how ZBrush was used in this!
looks pretty good so far,
but I might use more hard edges on the race cars to make them feel faster/sharper,(like with fins) I think the spoiler could be thinned down/sharpened. Giving harder edges will give the viewer a visual clue of how the cars are different because right now they both have the super rounded feel.
I have to agree that I think the shapes are all too round on the cars…adding edges would give you a nice contrast. The environment is looking good except its very geometric and clean. The cars are so animated, it would be nice to see that reflected in the environments as well. Flaring some shapes would be really cool. As for the textures, I would definitely add some worn edges and dirt just to give it some interest. This is coming along nicely though!
Thank you so much for the critiqe and comment, I really appriciate your input and feel about the cars, allthough my aim is actually to make them round and not to realistic, but yet beliviable… as far as zbrush goes it hasnt been involved in my work so far but knowing the power of the Z" it will come to play… It always does…heres an update with z and a new caracter hope you like it and you are more than welcome to post replyes… peace to all
