I’m the new kid on the block as it were, and am trying to increase my skills so that I can work in the games industry.
The Project
To create a high quality female character optimized for a games engine.
Objectives

To learn and understand hard surfaced modelling techniques

To retain as much detail as possible while optimizing for a games engine.

To end up with a final high quality piece professional enough for a portfolio.
The Progress
I’m currently concepting different types of armor for my female biped trying to not spend too much time in any one place which I’m finding hard to do. I’m sculpting straight off of a base mesh I downloaded so the armor is already conforming off the body. as you may be able to tell I’m using some tutorials from all around the place as guidance but want to create my own feel for the design.
