Which ZModeler command would you use to cap these two cyclinders

cyclinders.png

If you have two open mesh cylinders, the black and red , and you want to make a hollow pipe shape by creating the green mesh on both ends, what zmodeler command would you use? ( or other method) I have some cylindrical type forms I want to do this to, they are not cylinders per say but are both open tube like shapes , an inner and an outer shell with a relatively small gap between them that I want to create a doughnut mesh shape to make a solid.

Thanks

The fastest way would be to use Edge/Bridge/Circle command.

Wouldn’t it be simpler to just extrude out the polys one one pipe?

That would also work. She said she had 2 pipes and wanted them connected. But I love when we got several options to make the same outcome.

Thanks for those replies, I have tried the bridge brush, SOME TIMES I WAS ABLE TO DRAW PART OF THE LINE PRESS SHIFT AND IT WOULD THEN GIVE ME THESE DOTS AROUND THE WHOLE GROUP CYLINDER EDGE AND THEN RELEASE SHIFT AND IT WOULD DRAW THE LINE. BUT NOW THAT FUNCTIONALITY JUST SEEM GONE .
SO I DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON WITH THIS BRUSH. iI AM HAVING TROUBEL GETTING THE BRUSH TO DRAW A CURVE AROUND THE CYCLINDER EDGES?

Can you do an extrude with the zmodler brush , extruding perpendicular from one complete edge to the other , even if the edge rings contain different amounts of vertices? If so What zmodeler actions and targets do I use?

Thanks

To bridge in Edge mode is very easy. Jus click on one edge on the outer circle and then one on the inner and it will do a bridge around the whole circle. No need to hold shift or anything.

Thank you Ghostman! Yes thats much easier than the curve bridge tool.

I used Zmodeler, bridge, two holes, spline and then just clicked an edge on each cylinder edge, and bingo, a flat ring mesh end cap is created between the two cyclinders.

Yay! Way to go.
