Hi all, new here and new to zbrush. geting the hang of it and liking it very much.
heres my first model, took me a few goes to get it started but once i got past the low poly stage it was all go from there.
any suggestion of where i can take it would be appreciated.
esp on painting and rendering presentaion images.

I really like the teeth on this guy. Though my memory tells me the mouth was filled with dense rows of thin needley teeth. I could be wrong.

here are some paint test
ive been trying to make a basic display stand or base for the model to sit on but not really getting anywhere, does anybody have have a model of one that their will to give out.
i tried making one in max and importing it in, but the mesh comes in distorted.

great update…i really like the shiny creepy detail on the head…and the green/grays that you have going on…it’s looking pretty scary right now. only thing i would add is some spit and maybe some additional color contrasts to really emphasize the sliminess of it. also, the teeth could use just a little additional work…they seem a little ‘dull’…color and maybe even a little more refining on the sculpting. other than that i think it’s really scary and a great version of the scariest alien of all time. any chance on the final version you could make a version for a wallpaper?

NAILED IT! Huge Giger fan here, always love to see another fan’s homage to the master. Amazing modeling, but I would like to see the creepy tongue sticking out of that ugly mouth. Other than that, PERFECT. MORE GIGER STUFF!!!
not the tongue…it’s that retracting double set of scary mofo’in teeth with all the mucus falling off of it!!!
hey thanks guys. sorry to say that i might be leaving this project alone for awhile, ive spent far too long looking at aliens… need to refresh my eyes with something new, but hopefully i’ll get inspired to revisit it soon.
