UV Master

Hey Everyone…

So I finally got zBrush 3.5 and I’m loving it. this morning I got UV master
and in like a minute I unwrapped a head and I’m like whoa… I can get used
to this and then I import my mesh into 3ds Max and the I have a bunch seams
of my unwrap. I mean I know zbrush does it when u import ur model back into max.

So my question is : is there a way to bring in the unwrapp from zbrush without
the seams all over the model?

Thanks guys.

Without images it’s hard to tell exactly what’s happening, but are you remembering to flip your texture vertically when you export it from ZBrush?

Hmm … Good point. I didnt flip it. But I know typically zbrush tends to create a bunch of seams on all the edges once you export from zbrush, I dont know
if UV master fixes that problem. But there is a screen shot of what I mean. Untitled-1.jpg

So all the green edges represent the seams. I dont think the flip will get rid of
all the seams. And going in on the model and welding all the edges will be very inefficient

Go in Tool >> Export and press Mrg before exporting. It will merge your UVs together.
