Trim Dynamic, not trimming

Hey guys, im really new to zbrush I love this software and i want to get good with it but sometimes unfortunately im having some trouble!

The trim dynamic tool only really seems to be working on some edges (bottom one in pic working fine) but when i try move it to another edge it wont budge and doesnt trim it at all? ive tried changing up the topology and various other things but there always seems to be a few edges that just wont move using this tool?

Any help would be much appreciated thanks!

I think that edge is just too sharp for it to Trim down. Try smoothing the area first before trimming, then it should work.

I think the error has something to do with dynamesh, because these edges will trim properly before hand, but once inside dynamesh some edge just refuse to budge, ive tried smoothing, creasing and beveling the edges but some edge just wont move properly using this tool

Are you using 4R7? Try the ZModeler brush on a QCube instead. Move some edges. Welcome to ZBrush. (dynamesh might be causing your issue)
