Tiling textures

Is there a way to tile and move textures on a subtool (like in the flip H and V, and rotate functions)? I have a tileable texture that I want to tile across the surface horizontally say 5 times, and offset it so I can sculpt using the texture as a guide. Without changing the UV.

Thanks in advance

In the Tool>UV Map menu you can set the Hrepeat and Vrepeat sliders. There are other controls for offest (AdjU and AdjV) and more. These controls are set individually for each SubTool so you can use different values for different parts of your model.

Keep in mind that tiling only affects how the texture displays on the model. If you try to use masking based on the texture it will use the non-adjusted texture rather than what is being displayed.

That’s cool, it’s a model for Second Life so I need to tile the texture in Zbrush the same way as it is tiled in SL. Your advice does exactly what I need, thanks very much for that!
