The Toothless Dead Need Lunchage wip (Updated animated chewing gif(

just a zsphere head I was playing with while watching the Americans get their butts beat in the Olympic basketball…(shakes head in shame). anyhoo… 83K poly. Sokar mats and lights…
A. 3way shot
B. Head with mats and light and no hair

  1. Render with lights, baked and hair added
  2. Paintup render
  3. Final render with render adjustments made.

I dont know if I like it with or without the render adjustments…I kninda liked the one without the iris’s and pupils…thought about adding teeth…may still do it but at this point, he is just another hungry toothless zombie of sorts…looks a bit like some drunks around the town here after they have gummed down a side of baby back ribs on a Saturday night and washed it down with some brew.

have a great Sunday…thnx for looking

have a good one Ron

How you add the hair?

Heyas Dan,

  1. Do best render after you have finished your model.
  2. Bake the model…Ctrl B
  3. RGB only, fiberbrush, intensity settings around 15-20ish, Zadd on, Fiberbrush>modifier>density 20>gravity80-100>grooming 100

I do sometimes mess with the sliders in changing the Draw size, width, embed etc…depending on what I am wanting…

Choose a small alpha and paint on a few loose hairs here and there…give them a little shadow with the highlighter brush using the Alt key when shadowing…
Fine alpha for eyebrows…I painted those on one by one…

Those are my basics for hair…Hope this helps ya.

Edit…I just posted a tut /zscript of sorts on the Tuts section of the forum if you are interested still Dan. Thanx for motivating me to do one, Dan.
Ron

Thanks for the message. Going to download the tut.
