the tattoo man (nudity)

hi guys, my last wip, still tryng to get a good pose…one shot.

Overall, the anatomy is very strong. My only critique is that perhaps the legs are a bit too slender and do not properly balance out his rather large arms. It also seems that perhaps his right pectoral should be stretched more in that pose. I could be wrong, but it’s worth messing with a bit to see if it helps the pose.

I would lighten up the tattoos to give them an aged look. The left hand should also be turned to where the back of the hand is facing the viewer. That way you complete the walking movement you have him posed into right now.

i think the pelvis is a bit stiff and u need to adjust it to bring life into his pose. also u should lower the pelvis a bit while keeping his feet intact where they are. this will add a minute little bend in his right leg and will give him the room which is required to take a step. i know his weight has almost been transferred onto his right leg but it will never be straight and stiff like that.

hi , Twitchmonkey, DAnconia, taemee thanks for yours comments, i’ll keep working on the arms, legs, pectoral and pelvis.
D’Anconia good idea for the tattoos i’ll do it.

cheers

a good way to age the tattoo is to set your rgb intensity somewhere around 2-5% and use a skin tone and just lightly spray over it. Saw it on The Making of Eastern Promises and it works in ZBrush too. Sooooo cool!!!

i jast made a quick try on the tattoos using the brightness/contrast adjustment in ps and it looks alrady more real… front.jpg

Totally cool.

Looks much better!!! Previously it looked like the tattoos and then the guy but now they look like they belong together. KEEP IT UP!!!

hi guys, i did a simple test using maxwell render…thanks rouncer and danconia for suggestions, i’m not sure for the final render but i think that i’ll play a lot with shadows and blurs…
