the difference between saving a document (zbr) or a project (zpr)?

[COLOR=#666666][FONT=Arial][FONT=FrutigerNext-Regular]Hello everyone

[COLOR=#666666][FONT=Arial][FONT=FrutigerNext-Regular]As said in the title, I have trouble seeing the difference between saving a document (zbr) or a project (zpr)? What’s changing between the two?
good day,

Pierre

A ZBR (Document) file is an image, only. It is made entirely of pixols and does not contain any geometry/polygons.

A ZTL (Tool) is a single model’s geometry. This includes all of its SubTools and any applied textures.

A ZPR (Project) is all of the Tools that you’ve created during the current session, along with things like light and material settings. It also includes your Undo History.

Unless you’re a 2D artist you probably won’t use a ZBR very often. Most artists use ZPR but due to the format’s nature it can result in very large files. If you’re only working on a single model and haven’t messed with custom materials or lighting the better route to go is usually ZTL. The exception is if you want your full Undo History, potentially going back to the moment you started working on the model. About the only time that is of significant use is if you’re planning to do a TimeLapse movie showing the creation of your model.

Thank you very much, it’s much clearer now.

Good day,
