the BLOODY green box.

hello mate’s

Got a question about the damn green box, when you highlight a part of your mesh with the green box. It’s sorta like cropping, right?
Well when your done with that part that you cropped and you want to go back to the full image with the part you also cut. What do you press to remerge the green box (****f+Ctrl) with the original full image??

Iv been loosing my mind because of this, can someone please help me.

thank you

Man like somebody, who has any experiance what so ever in Zbrush please help me out. Its a simple problem that i know you guys know how to deal with.

:expressionless:

ctrl-shift click on the canvas outside of your model.

that goes back to the other part of the image, it dosent return the 2 pieces together,??

Try clicking twice instead of once - it’ll come back sooner or later.

correction…

control-shift-click AND drag a bit (off model) then release to reverse the visible polygroups.
control-shift-click (off model) to make all polygroups visible.

See page 298 in the Practical guide.

Holding ctrl+shift while dragging enables you to show only a portion of the mesh. If you want to invert the visibility, hold ctrl+shift and drag a small box on an empty area (not on the model). If you want the whole model visible again, just hold ctrl+shift and click anywhere (click, don’t drag).

As has been pointed out, the Practical Guide goes into all of this in detail. There is also a Partial Mesh Visibility tutorial ZScript built into ZBrush 2. You can find it via the Help button.

thank you all so much, this took away all my headaches for the past couple of days, thanks so much…
