Sunset Sail

Another one of our sunsets. I have a zscript of the clouds should any one be interested in having it.

Joe.

gooooy

Now that looks inviting! The palm fronds and other tree leaves are very realistic, Lovely colours in the sunset and reflected in the water. Very pleasing painting to look at.

What does gooooy mean? I am lost, will someone please translate!
DeeVee,
Joe.

I mean the water looks gooooy.

Thank you for explaining what gooooy means. Since I am still learning this program and in the process, have written many scripts on creating water and have never had any called gooooy. And since I would like to improve my techniques, I assume, based on your comment that you are an expert in creating water in Zbrush. I have not seen anything you have created so I cannot judge, but,to help all, would you be kind enough as to write a script that indicates how to do water that is not gooooy, and all the membership will benifit frrom the sharing of your talents.

Love those colors DeeVee and the folage is perfect ~S~

goo goo

yeppers that is a new one for me too…gooooooy? groovy maybe? very nice image Joe…yer always giving us the most beautiful views of paradise and it is much appreciated I know at least by this fat man  :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

Hey man don’t have a cow! lol I don’t even think the word “gooey” is a bad adjitive to describe water. I think it looks like an oil painting and the water looks cool…sorta gooey! How did you do that?
The internet: Brings out the paranoia in everyone.

That water looks great for the type of picture it is, good work!

Vibrant and alive colors --Luminous :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

Beautiful sunset DeeVee…A real gem! Love the way you did the water. A real treat for the eyes. :+1: :+1:

Thanks for the comments folks. You know that I am always experimenting, when I find an easy way or a new way to do something I try to pass it on. This will continue for as long as I am a member on this forum.
DeeVee,
Joe.

One of your best so far,Joe, and also your best boat painting to date! You’re starting to get your marine draughting skills down, as well as water and skies! :+1: :sunglasses:

Thanks SC, I was looking back at the numerous seascapes I have done over the year since joining the forum and asked myself, What was missing, and the answer came back loud and clear something living. So I began to put in foliage first, then birds, boats and people. That is what made the difference I think. Improvement in knowledge of the program and technique has also contributed signficantly, not to mention all the help I have recieved directly and indirectly from so many mambers of the group.
