Stop Motion Practice

Under Simon Lee’s mentorship, my storytelling and motion explorations turned into stop-motion animations! I didn’t know I could do this.

Each frame is duplicated and posed, and the animation is made by quickly recording a video of the subtools switching in ZBrush.

What do you think? I am interested to digging more

Great results ! Some of your video are not visible for me here, (the most impressives that I saw on Instagram)… maybe a video format issue.
I wonder if it’s not possible to script part of your process.

Thank you! Not for these, but I already tried a Python script that automatically changes subtools. Now, I’m planning to work on adjusting the transition speed between selected frames and implementing interpolation

Thank you! Looking forward for your stuff

Nice :+1:! Seems you’re using some kind of active recording. I was thinking about something simple a zscript that changes the subtool and snapshot the screen in a folder and create a movie from the saved images using ffmpeg.
