Song Hye Kyo, Korean Actress (WIP)

@ Hi maxedwin

are you telling me that this picture is just 3D? Are you kidding me?
Man i have d seeing just 2 Works that they look 99% real and this one is the 3th.
Sorry Man but you are crazy. I love this work from you.
Extremely WOW… im with out words. The shirt looks a little bit unreal but…
No words.
Congrats.

Now, that is impressive. I know how hard it is to get a womans face looking beauty and to render it in a realistic way is even harder. You managed that so well, hats off. It´s much better than your last girl, you have really improved. Damn, I have to go back to work, my virtual girl looks like crap compared to this :roll_eyes:small_orange_diamond:D

Very Freakin Good … very nice work

Amazing stuff.

Mike R

hello,

thx for the comments :D,

I’ll try to fix the hair if I can…

the render took around 15 hours at 1800x1350 (with hair), without hair is around 30 mins

The eyes reflection look like that because I made the spec very high, though it’s not as good as using HDRI.

I’m not sure what photometric means, but it seems like they are based on real life calculation…

also, here is the ref pic that I used for the style

Max

Hi Maxedwin!!

Very Beautiful work…She is so real …really impressive :+1:

I would like to ask you about her hair.Do you used some spot light apart the three photometric lights or maybe do you made this render apart?

It is very complicated to do the shadows, could you explain your secret?

Thank you very much!!!

Kisses!

She looks amazing!!! the original one too \o/ eheh
5 stars

Seriously good work!

hello,

Trinnity - no, there no other light, the hair is using mr prim mode, so it can cast raytrace shadow.

I posted the finished one on cgtalk yesterday, so you can see it here:

the only thing I can do in front of this image is just cry of hapiness, firstly because I wished that that asian chick was my girlfriend and secondly, cry because zbrush2 is just the best sculpting software I have ever worked on.

I like the way you dispose the hair. I like ur work verymuch!!!:+1: :+1: :+1:

wow…so strikingly gorgeous

the expression change is amazing, it has being caught perfectly and is unrecognisable as CG to the knowledgable eye, as my peers will admit after i showed them this, amazing work!

Really impressive work. I’d say this is bordering on the finest CG female I’ve seen so far. If it were not for parts of the hair and the surface of the chin, I think it would probably be THE finest.

You’re not finished with it yet though, are you :+1:

exelent work, and the fact that its in the may issue of bizarre shows how good it is, really is a great peice of work, and they describe it as a photo, thats a great compliment, and indeed it looks like a photo!
