Is there any possible way to set a brush to a hotkey. For example is it possible to set the move brush to 1 on the numeric pad?
You may find it easiest to:
- Select the brush you want to assign a hotkey to, so that it will show at the top of the Brush palette.
- Ctrl+Alt+click the small thumbnail in the Brush palette before pressing the hotkey you want.
- Store the new hotkey by pressing Preferences>Hotkeys>Store
NOTES:
- Sometimes with Brush hotkey assignments you need to Store the hotkeys and restart ZBrush before the hotkey will work correctly.
- The 1 key is the default hotkey for ‘Replay Last Stroke’. See here for a full list of the default hotkeys http://docs.pixologic.com/user-guide/keyboard-shortcuts/shortcuts-by-category/
Thank you both for being lifesavers =). However, I do have one last question. I assigned a brush to 1 on the numeric pad already. How would I go about assigning a new hotkey to the command “repeat last stroke”. Though I rarely use it it does come in handy when using the pinch brush.

The ‘ReplayLast’ button is in the Stroke>Modifiers sub-palette. Just assign a new hotkey to that button.
Thanks =)
