I just finished with my first zbrush scene and i want to have a photo of the model. i know how to export it as a jpeg or psd but when i do it is not the quality i want. it looks ok regular size but zoom in on it and it is pixelated quickly. i want a high definition photo so i can make a poster. please help
How to render high resolution images in Zbrush
-
In Document menu, turn Pro off and make your document size whatever you want, then click Resize button. Answer Yes to the dialog that pops up.
-
On the right shelf, use the Zoom button to zoom your document out until you see the whole thing. You will see the borders when you have zoomed out enough.
-
Draw the Tool on the canvas to fit inside of the document and arrange as you wish.
-
Do a BPR render then go to Document menu and click Export button to save your image.
As long as you’ve saved your scene as a .zpr file you should be ok. If you were working in 2.5D, not so much, unless you’ve saved your .ztl files or .objs and can recreate it in the higher detail.
that worked great thanx. there is just one thing, is there a way to preview what will be on the picture i save because i had to zoom in really close in zbrush to get good quality. i only saw a portion of the pic in the zbrush screen but a larger area was shown in the final pic so i had to guess as to where to zoom in so that all the parts of the pic were not cut off
Can you post an image of what your talking about?
After you do step 2 from my first post, that is your preview. You are looking at the whole document, so what you see is what your final image will look like. Just render and export that to see it in full size.
don’t mean to butt in here. just wanted to say note that in step 2, zber2 is saying to zoom the document, not the objects.
@ ebrake94… This is what I meant by step 2.
