Save file without dialog

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to save a ztool without getting the ‘save as’ dialog.
Now it gives a dialog every time and you still need to confirm save and then confirm overwrite, this gets anoying as i save constantly. I know about quicksave, but that doesnt save the file regularly. i just want to save like any other sftware, ctrl+s and done.

is this possible in zbrush?

greets,
joe

3 ways that i know of offhand.
1.at the menu bar there is the quicksave button, info here: http://docs.pixologic.com/getting-started/basic-concepts/saving-your-work/
2. svengali’s quicksave plugin, you set up your save location once then use the iteration button after:

3.Nick’s Tools plugin which i haven’t used but looks promising: http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?167639-My-Zbrush-Plugin!&p=1074276&viewfull=1#post1074276

Nyx’s plugin looks pretty useful
thanks for linking

The Save ZTL button in SubTool Master will work like that if you assign a hotkey. The first time you use the hotkey it will ask for a file name, then subsequent saves will overwrite the file. To save with a new name just press the button.

Not sure if the script I made for doing that(with help  ) made it into my assortment or not. Feel free to investigate. Some of the stuff might be useful to you(based on downloads, rather than comments/feedback)…
