rotate insert mesh in curve mode?

Hi,

is there any function to rotate die insert brush in curve mode. i want to build rooftiles, but the direction ob the seperate tiles are wrong in the curve mode. how can i twist the brush, so zbrush will order the tiles in the right direction and order?.

You must create your insert part for the curve in the right direction.
You can make a IMM Insert Brush to use many directions.

what did you mean with right direction? i modeled the tile in fronview and created a insertmesh brush from it. thats the right direction, but when i use the curve mode, the order of the seperate tiles are wrong. apparently there must be a function to twist the brush, to change the order in the curve mode.

You have to position the tile before you create the IMM brush there is no function to twist it later.

Probably a lot faster and easier to mask the side of the roof by alpha and move/extrude the shingles.

It would have to be placed like this on the canvas before you make it an Insert Mesh brush. Think of it this way. The top of the canvas as the start of the curve and the bottom of the canvas as the end of the curve.

thanks all for the fast reply and especially zber2, that was the solution for my problem  but it would be gratefull, if the curvemode are able to turn the insertmesh brush around and twist like you prefer.
