Risk Europe One-Off Boardgame

Yo!

A while ago I posted some work in progress on this project, well it s finally done! A one-off edition of Risk Europe (the original got released in 2016 by Hasbro).

I commissioned a friend of mine Pierre Tatin after seeing an illustration he did for a Vinylcover. It was exactly the style I was looking for, so he did all the 2D stuff (map, cards and box cover).
I took care of the Art Direction, Miniature Design and 3D Sculpting and 3D printing supports in Zbrush, did the 3D Printing on my Solus 3D Printer and painted the models with Airbrush and Citadel Colors.

I also did a mockup in Zbrush for the box, as the miniatures are a bit to fragile to be thrown into a bag.

Now I m just waiting for the next gamenight!

You think you’d ever post some of this for others to print and play? 3d Files, etc? I would be very intereseted as Risk is one of my favorite games. If so you should post this on the Boardgamegeek website.

I actually would like to put together a DIY- Kit for this project - in a similar spirit to what you can see in videogames with fan-made mods.

But I haven t resolved certain questions technically and legally, so if it happens it will certainly take a while.

Really awesome work! A DIY-Kit would be really nice. I just started playing Risk Europe and i am so impressed from your work. Can you tell me where I can get the print files?
Best wishes Dennis
