Hi all,
I hand carve waxes for lost wax casting jewellery pieces and ultimately would love to get into designing jewellery with CAD (rings to begin with) , 3d resin print , then cast.
I have no experience with any sort of CAD or 3d printing but want to learn. I’ve invested in Zbrush in the hope it’s best suited to the organic style of jewellery I want to make.
I’ve followed some recommended YouTube channels to try and pick up the basics but struggling to find the time and rhythm to do this regularly and make any progress. It feels like a daunting task as the moment.
I’m wondering if it’s worth investing in a plug in like ring builder 5? Would this assist me in getting started designing and printing rings sooner or am I jumping the gun not having a solid grasp of the basics beforehand?
Many thanks
Chris
