Awesome! I don’t know what else to say.

My favorite turtle! Awesome image too I really like that he doesnt’ look humanoid or mutanty here. Cigar is a great a touch goes with the attitude too.

Looking cool  From his hands he looks more like Tortoise than turtle  Very cool indeed! :+1: :+1:

brilliant!

That’s one cool turtle. With fists like that though I dont know why he’d need his Sai daggers ^^. Do you have plans for doing any of the other turt’s?

That’s very original,great work Adam!

haha awesome! love the way you portrayed him :+1:

The character is very cool, but a little more contrast would help the noir style IMHO.

héhé really cool  love it :+1:

that is such a cool take on him

love it!

This is awesome, I love it  I would love to see you do the other ones as well

I agree with LY though, maybe bump up the contrast a tiny bit

Wow! Very original… I love this take on an old character… hehe. Very kool and unique. Love the detailing and the render is pretty kool. I’d love to see some breakdowns of the work in progress if possible.

Anyways 5 stars! Keep it up!

love the whole idea - the only thing I have a bit of a problem with is the fact that he totally blends with the bg and looks rather blant - you could have slightly increased the contrast to make him pop… otherwise an awesome turtle

This is super original stuff here, nothing but respect man…:+1:

I gotta say WOW, why the hell didn’t I think of that!

That is awsome! I love the composition, too bad its not colored!

5 stars for me!

That is a really fresh take on the Rapahel man.!! Very stunning model and awesome render. Amazing work dude! Wonder if you have plans on making the the other 3?? Would love to see more of the model too.

sweet! that’s how they should have looked.

The response has been great, thanks guys. I do agree the final lighting leaves something to be desired. I do plan to (eventually) get the whole set of four modeled, posed, and textured. In my spare time, that’s a huge undertaking…

I decided to post some more shots of the model as an update to the original post. It’s all I’ve got to show as I didn’t think to grab progress shots.

great…unique style
