Rahan is a hero of the French magazine PIF. Its first appearance was in 1968 in PIF magazine. The hero’s illustrator was André ,
a graphic artist with a dynamic and energetic line. I was inspired in my interpretation by a drawing made by Chéret. I modeled it in two days. I considered that the work can be finished, giving up going further with the details!

Pif Gadget… some people were buying it only for the gadget, but the magazine has so many great stories and characters.
You are right! PIF magazine has included among the best illustrators. Poivet, Cezard, Hugo Pratt, Marcello, Uderzo, there are only a few. Rahan, however, conquered me when I was little and Andre Cheret’s drawing influenced me a lot.
