quick grab screen and draw on top?

Has anyone watched this tutorial in zbrushworkshop?
http://www.zbrushworkshops.com/introduction-to-zbrush.html

I think the instructor made a quick screen capture and draw on top of it (because the brush icon is still there) but without switching to any other application - It’s almost immediate, no delay, no switching apps.

Anyone know how that is done? What application might be able to do that?

hi there,
do you mean the “screendraw” feature from screen-recording software (eg. camtasia) or some zbrush feature?
in zbrush you can leave edit mode anytime and start sketching with your brushes(or pens) over your 3d-artwork…

hope that helps…

Thank chemkid. I think it’s a screen grab since the brush icon is still stuck there on the screen.

Some members at zbrushworkshop recommended Zoom It (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897434) I’m going to give it a try tonight

so…

i don’t know “zoom it” - i would recommend: (if you’d ask me…)

prtscr, also free and very handy!

thanks chemkid I’ll be sure to try it out.

Been playing around with Zoom It for a bit. I think it’s not bad. You can magnify the screen with mouse wheel, could be really handy if you’re connecting your pc/laptop to a projector. It’s really fast too. Too bad it only has 4 lines colors - red green blue yellow.
