does anyone know how I can set a project path in zbrush / folder where I always wanna safe my files?
or any path to a folder?

You can place a short cut to another folder in your projects folder. This way when you open light box, the shortcut will be there. I do this. After several versions of Zbrush I found it necessary locate to a folder outside of the Zbrush version folder. I started losing track of models mays alphas, and projects because of the frequent updates.
Don’t get me wrong Pixologic, please continue frequent updates. I do wish they would move the default project files or of the version folders and into the main Pixologic folders. Would make more sense.
Zbrush doesn’t really have a Projects folder like some other 3d programs. I really wish they would put one in.
Using different add-ons (scripts), decimation master, GoZ, etc. will change the default folder. I have to double check the folder when saving ZTL files.

is there no plugin that can provide that function?
For me, it is so annoying to browse to the folder I want to save or open files.
It would be so easy to put in some folder paths that you define and also can change.
But instead, you have to go through all the folders all the time.
Even if you make a windows folder shortcut, it is not a solution.
because you dont end up in the same folder (where your short is) all the time.
