Hello, I have an very hard edgy look, when I am exporting from zBrush to Substance for example.
I have each time to go to Maya and smooth the normals. This can’t be right!
What’s the right workflow here?

ZBrush only works with the actual geometry. Smoothing would be both redundant and detrimental to appearance and performance at the polycounts ZBrush works with. If your external program is unable to smooth them, then you would have to either smooth them in a program that can, or use a format like FBX that can export smoothing.
Thanks, yes I was just in hope, that zBrush could export a smoothing for other software. It forces me always to go into Maya first when I need it in Substance.
