Possible to make a 3D Mcdonald's logo?

I am scratching my head how to make a 3D Madonald’s logo, having some angular extrusions like a real.

Is it possible to make it?

Make the logo in Photoshop, then alpha > make 3d

I’ve tried the method but could not get crisp edges…i have also tried cubic skinning when making alpha 3d and the surrounding sides are not smooth.

Try the alpha Msm (mesh smooth) option in the make alpha palette

I should think ZSpheres is the easiest method:

You may find better results extruding text in another 3D application.

To be able to bring in an extruded form derived from an eps into ZBrush it is important to be aware that ZBrush cannot handle n-sided polys that are created from vectors.

Therefore the n-sided poly must first be tripled.

If you wish to bevel text or other vector forms - extrude n-sided poly first > then bevel > select n-sided poly, then triple.

Be careful not to import in your .obj derived from the external 3d package with any obsolete polys or points.

Also if your imported object due to scaling issues between ZBrush and other apps behaves oddly(to big,too small) go to Tools >Deform > Unify.

p.s this post may help you with texturing problems with triangles: http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=27997

This was an Alpha drawn in Photoshop then made 3D with the mesh at 256 and smoothing at 100. Then the ends of the m were masked and flattened with y symmetry and the front and back was flattened with z symmetry.

Thank you all of you! It would help.

Just download an SVG. That will help.
