It’s hard to welcome each and every member! But no you mention it, Welcome!!(most boards don’t give anyone a welcome)

Thank you I am sorry I Do rember now. Thanks. :+1:

Welcome from here, too.

To answer your question more thoroughly, ZBrush imports and exports in the following formats:

2D – PSD and BMP
3D – OBJ and DXF

Any program that can use one of those formats can be used in conjunction with ZBrush.

Poser and ZBrush work very well together. ZBrush is phenomenal for the creation of morph targets and high quality textures to use in Poser renders. ZBrush also has a much better rendering engine than Poser does, allowing you to bring Poser figures into ZBrush for rendering using ZBrush’s awesome array of materials, lighting options, and render settings. This thread shows an example of using ZBrush to render a Poser character (the Poser render is later in the thread for comparison). This one shows ZBrush textures rendered in Poser. There are more examples available if you use the forum’s search feature, and quite a bit in the Quick Links (linked to from the top of every forum page).

For Bryce, here are two examples where Brycetech used ZBrush to model, Bryce to lay the scene out, and then ZBrush to render. Go here and here.

For Poser, Bryce and ZBrush together, try here.

Photoshop of course works great for all 2D work. In relation to ZBrush, it gets used a lot to resize a render down in order to antialias the edges. It’s also a great way to create text, which can be imported as an alpha into ZBrush and then used as a stencil. This Image was done using that technique. And this image was done by importing a bunch of fractals that were created with Photoshop plug-ins for use in ZBrush as textures, deformation masks and fog alphas. Ken Brilliant has done a lot of amazing stuff with ZBrush in conjunction with Photoshop. Here is one example, here is another, and this will really blow your mind.

There are many, many, many more ways that ZBrush works well with other programs. The best thing to bear in mind is that if the other program can use one of the four file formats that I listed to begin with, then it can play with ZBrush. You’ll find as you experiment that ZBrush can enhance practically anything in the graphics world.

Just have fun!
