Ok...Tech Support for ZbrushCORE S-U-C-K-S

Really not happy with the tech support for ZbrushCore. I basically got brushed off over the phone because there apparently is no tech support for ZbrushCore over the phone. Submitted a service ticket and still no response a day later, despite marking the ticket at Emergency level. Super frustrated!

If Support are really busy then they may not have been able to get to your ticket before the weekend. What’s the problem? I may be able to help.

Thanks again Marcus! Again, I greatly appreciate your taking time to respond and help.

Ok, the latest issue I’m having is with ZSpheres. I’m not able to undo added spheres. Instead, when I hit undo, the model starts adding extensions, and even getting strange smudges or distortions on the model. My UI even flickered a few times, too.

That sounds really strange. Are you able to provide some screenshots?

Ok, it’s getting a bit stranger. My undo is working now. However, whenever I Shift/drag to snap the model to the forward view, it adds on an extension, then if I try again, it does the smudge thing I mentioned. If I move the model, the smudge disappears. But here it is…

Thanks for the pics, they are really useful. What you’re describing is a display issue, though I’ve not seen this before. It may be that your computer is not up to handling ZBrushCore, or that you have a corrupt installation. Sometimes this can result from an antivirus program running in the background. If you downloaded the program then it might be worth downloading again, and doing a clean install. If you want help with that you’ll need to contact Support.

Thanks again, Marcus! That does make sense, and indeed I did have an antivirus running when I bought the program (via the site’s download). I’ve finally heard back from support, and they’ve bumped me up to higher category of emergency. Sorry for the heated title of this thread, I was just very frustrated, and thanks again for your help!

You’re welcome!
