Object deforming when moving

so today i noticed some unwanted behaviour when i was trying to move an object. the gizmo moved faster than the object and the object was deforming. i dont know why this is. it has nothing todo with symmetry on/off.

That is because the Focal Shift slider now incorporates deformations when using the Gizmo 3D. Move the Focal Shift slider to -100 for normal transformations. If you use the Action Line for transforms, it is not affected by the Focal Shift slider.

must have messed with the slider by accident. defenitely gonna use focal shift slider more in the future now that i know what its for. thank you

I’m curious, what did you use to make this quick little animation illustrating your problem?
I’m always looking for easier ways to do this.
