Hi all,
with its latest release, ZBrush caught my attention, so I thought it would be a good time to try it out. But when I went to the trial page, it states that the trial is no longer available. Is this a temporary thing to update the trial to the latest version of ZBrush? Or will ZBrush no longer be available as a trial version?

A new Trial will be made available. I do not have any information regarding when, however.

Have you given Sculptris a try? It is not the full Zbrush package, but it is very powerful in its own right. It is offered for free by Pixologic. You can find it listed under products on the main companywebsite. It will give you a good taste of clay like modeling, While you are waiting for the Zbrush trial. 
That’s exactly what happened. I did give Sculptris a try, after which I wanted to have a look at ZBrush.
