It’s fantastic they did a new release update for existing users, but what about those of us waiting to get into ZBrush?
No holiday discount … no boxing day sale … that’s saddening. 
Why not try some of the resellers? Some of them sell ZBrush at $100 under the official price.
Actually, I have been looking for a reseller as well with a good price, but haven’t come across any. If you have one you could recommend, that would be fantastic. Although, at this point, I’ve likely missed any of the good discounts.
Being that I’m just a hobbyist, and only do this for my own enjoyment, I’m really trying to locate the best deal possible.
Well, I’m just now starting to look into selling my PC license of ZBrush. I’d like to get $550 for it ($500 for ZB, $50 to cover the transfer fee). So I’m not sure if $150-off is a super amazing Christmas treat, but I thought I’d throw it out there in any case.

ZBrush at full price is already a GREAT DEAL! Compare it to other software and you will see what I mean. Also factor in that we have not been asked for a penny for upgrades which come often. ZBrush is on sale all of the time, not just on a Holiday 
Well I do have to agree with you there. I don’t think ZBrush is overpriced at all, the price is really reasonable for what you get. However, considering I’m only a hobbyist, and after all the other recent xmas expenses, $700 is a little much for me to spend.
