No Eyes

Hello everyone,
this is my first post and my first image in zbrush either, I tried to create an old men face.
I would love to hear critics about it. ColorFinalsm.jpg

I don´t like the render, but the model is awesome
PD: read something about multimarkers so you can add eyes to your model.

Thanks!
I still new to zBrush rendering system, I also had some trouble exporting the object to Lightwave(couse there I feel home with the rendering). I donkt know yet how to export displacement maps to LW in the right way. About the eyes, Ill look fowerd to learn multimarks.
Thanks a lot for the tip!

Have to agree with Pencha, the modelling is awesome, however, the structure, the modelling and particularly the detail are to some extent ‘washed out’ and wasted by the render. In fact I was inspired to post a comment by the pictures of the model. The only other slight critique I would make is that the detail in the lids and brows has been to some extent lost by ‘movement’ and just needs putting back in.

Myself also being new to ZB, I’m continually in awe of other people’s first attempts, this time being no exception. Well done.

I totaly agree with you Darrell, the texture stuff is hurting my eyes to!I made another render, without any geometry changes, just to how the zBrush render works.
What do you think of this one? Color02.jpg

Hey that’s much better, you can see the details and the texture to much clearer effect now. Your detailed modelling is no longer hidden from the world!

love the head model…with regards to the render…in the render pallette…click on the adjustments and play with those settings after you have done Best render…you can adjust the RGB and brightness and contrast in that pallette…that can really make an image pop nicely alot of times…hope this helps in case you didnt know about it…look for postings by Sokar and Mentat for materials and light settings also…

you don´t need experience to play with the render settings, just try changing the RGB curve, contrast, and lot of other things… . Your last coloured image is VERY red (the neck is almost pinky  , and you can fix this just reducing the red setting

it is very easy to do a rough render… look at one of my posts here

the image was smoothed when i resized it but, as u can see, i´ve almost deleted midtones, etc… (yes, i love this render  , tell me what do you think in the post)
