Newbie Looking For - Step By Step Tutorials

I can’t find very simple tutorials for ZBrush 3. I am looking for a Step-By-Step tutorials that will walk me through a simple sculpt. Then a Step-By-Step tutorial on texturing using alphas etc. and other beginner tutorials.

I looked in the wiki but the tutorials there miss some steps that a beginner won’t know.

Also I just bought ZB3 and I don’t see any documentation like a .pdf manula. Is there one?

Thanks

Digital Tutors has a few free video tutorials up here, as well as a DVD available for purchase:

There are also some free training videos posted here:

Unfortunately there aren’t too many free tutorials at the moment since Z3 is so new, but feel free to browse through the Tutorials forum on this site and that will get you started. As for a manual, there is no PDF manual, but a comprehensive online manual/wiki located here: http://www.zbrush.info/

It’s worth mentioning that you’ll find quite a few tutorials and guides on the wiki as well.

hi,

in my signature you will see a zbrush2 wiki link…on the page it takes you to you should see a link for the Practical Guide. I think a few things might have changed a bit but
the majority of it should be good enuf to help you learn your way around zbrush a bit and if ya run into a snag we should be able to help ya out or find a work around for z3.

there should be a bunch of old tutorials in the tutorials forum written by newbies for newbies…yes for z2…some for z3 tho…that should also help ya get up and running.

and if ya can find someone with a Meats Meier cd …z2 or z3…he does a pretty good job of taking you through everything…basics to get ya going to.

if i run into a tutorial i think will help ya…i’ll try to point ya to it in this thread.

try these.

Thanks, eldee.s and aminuts, these should get me going, but if anyone has any very simple tutorials on modeling in ZB3 please post them.

Thanks
