I need some advice on what would look good for creating the lines in the fish fins. Would you sculpt the lines or use an alpha etc. I’ve never done this before so please explain in detail if you could. Thanks.

I want to create some scales on the fish. I downloaded a scale alpha and used the “Drag Rect” but it didn’t look good at all. Any ideas how to get scales to overlap so they look good.

I used the “Move Elastic” brush to move the geometry down but it really messes up the poly’s. I read this brush was better than the “move” brush for retaining good poly flow. What is the best way to move the geometry down and keep the mesh “clean”?
