Hi everyone! I though I would start a WIP thread here with my adventures in making my Aion Chanter. Hope you guys don’t mind if I squeeze myself in here!
So to give you a brief of what I am doing; I’m just attempting to make a character from the Aion world. This character is a Chain wearing, Mace wielding, Winged Deava, who I hope that when finished, he will be able to be printed

Here was my first Start on the basemesh made from a rough Noodleman:

So right now I’m still in the sketching phase. I will sketch out the wings and shield and mace next.
I always seem to do a sketching phase first, to make sure it works and to kinda show myself that “yes I can make this”
It also allows my complete creative freedom. So I don’t get too anal about messing up my polygons and topology. Its just a fun free expression. So that is why I sketch!
After I finish with this skecth, I shall move onto retopologizing the mesh and tidying it up for the final sculpt. Then I shall have fun trying to pose him!
