is there a quick way to move an object to the center world pivot inside zbrush(0,0,0)? also, is there a way to do it through script? thx
yes…but it also has a scale function associated with it.

You can use the Tool>Geometry>Position sliders. It’s straightforward to write a macro that sets them to zero. Save the attached file to your ZBrush ZStartup/Macros/Misc folder and then press Macro>Reload All Macros. You should then have a new ZeroAll button in the Macro>Misc sub-palette. Press the button to set the current subtool to 0,0,0.

Well, that helps a lot. I’ve been staring at the sliders under “info” wondering why I can’t move them. Had no idea there was a position option under geometry. And that macro helps a lot. Thanks!
The Transform>Info sliders are related to the states of the Draw, Move, Scale & Rotate switches. When Edit mode is on, and in Draw mode when Edit is off, they simply report the cursor position. In Move, Scale & Rotate mode (with Edit off so the gyro is visible) they can be altered to change the model position, size and rotation in the canvas. The sliders only affect the model as you view it on screen, not the world space position of the subtools.
