A happy new year and I greet you all. Mona Lisa dressed in casual contemporary clothes. I used Zbrush and photoshop. Modeling and texturing took me two days altogether.
In Mona Lisa, it is not the smile that is mysterious or difficult to reproduce, as is wrongly believed (there are already around three “originals”), but the ironic and analytical look, and I think I have not deviated too much from ,the reality’’ of the painting, and I didn’t even set out to be very exact, intending to give it a modern, realistic look. But reinterpreting the portrait with modern means, we would realize that Da Vinci was very precise about facial volumes and shadows. In my 3D version, the light source that leaves the shadows exactly as in the original painting, Da Vinci’s rigor is impressed. In other words, Leonardo must have previously worked according to a real model, even if he worked all his life on the painting, adding new plastic values for improvement.
