Modifications without distortion

I’m supposing this is not possible, as the pose seems to be a great consideration when working in Zbrush, but I was curious as to whether or not body parts could be moved our rotated without distorting their actual geometry?

Is your mesh a ZSphere preview? If so, then while the preview is turned off you can press Tool>Morph Target>StoreMT (which you should always do before sculpting or texturing a preview mesh, anyway). You can then move the ZSpheres (without adding or removing any) and this will repose the mesh.
