This commission project required to translate a 2d concept into a 3d sculpt for printing. On this project i focused the practice on sculpting male anatomy and guidelines for optimizing the sculpt for printing.
Went from block in to sculpt to ensure the muscles had proper volume, felt like a long pipeline, i guess i need to learn to optimize.
This commission project required to translate a 2d concept into a 3d sculpt for printing.
I started by making a muscle block in, then i quick posed it in maya to help me start a silhouette and measurement corrections.
After that i started dynameshing everything to add muscle mass, once the body was largely done i started adding in the missing props for the design.
What i learned with this project is that i took the longest pipeline, but i guess it was an eye opening time for me, i found myself searching everywhere for good ecorches of the human body, Anyway, im going to practice anatomy from now on.
