Hi ZBrush Central! My name is Manu.
It’s been a long long time being amazed by the wonders within this forums and never taking the step to post something myself. Well, I think this is a good chance.

This is the work I’ve submitted for an album cover contest for the incredible metal band Mastodon. Inspired by thai ancient masks, Mastodon previous artwork and of course the outstanding sculptor A.J. Fosik. Done entirely in ZBrush, rendered in Maya Mental Ray and composed in Photoshop.

Rad. The real cover for this, by AJ Fosik, might well be my favorite album cover ever. so freaking cool.
I was tempted to do something like this myself. Very cool. I’m going to see Mastodon next month for the 5th time!
