That has got to be Christian Bale.
yes! correcto mundo! so I can’t be toooo far off… now is there anything I can do to really push that resemblence? maybe I should say “anything I can exaggerate?”
Ummm okay I must be retarded I thaught it was Chris Barrie. Christian Bale didn’t really come to mind. I guess it is partly due to the expression. If you can exagerate anything I would go for that.
Make his eyebrows more angry since Bale usually always has his eyebrows furrowed or a little angry. Also make the mouth a tiny bit poutier and kinda exagerate the skeletal structure around the mouth. He is quite a chiseled fellow in the face.
Also change his hair if you can to something wavy and buisnes man like in american psycho and your probably going to nail the look.
Changed around the hair widened the head a bit… I’m trying to make him not look like Tom cruise though :\ I did give him his signature pursed lips “duh” look though <img src=“http://www.zbrushcentral.com/upload/atn.gif”>

His nose is giving him a bit of a Kenneth Williams to the sculpt. It may need to be toned down a bit. Keep with it though.

More work. I gave him a bit of unintentional Willem Dafoe. It reads pretty good from the side though so iono… maybe I’m not pulling the skin taut enough. however the eyes are really throwing me off :\

I could immediately tell it was Bale! Starting with the very first pic in the thread. Excellent Job! My only suggestion would be to not let others guess who it is, just because it’s completely objective and for the sake of argument… what if four people said it looked like some other guy… and just two people said Bale… even tho the first four people were just unfamiliar with actors faces… they could have influenced you into not finishing this awesome work!.. lol… just my two cents… great job… and the eyes are dead on!

something funny about the eyes though.maybe its a little bit to wide/to big ?
hm…he looks very good shaded…when you color him, something’s not right (Besides the eyes) Can you try to alter the eye… (Seems like they are off the sockets as well) and the overall painting? Looking forward to your next update of this Bale.
I’ve made the eyes alot better. I added another sphere over the eye to act as the shine. It has a ramp to darken the upper portion. AND I’ve added Occlusion

I have to say that the shaded untextured sculpt was really lookin like bale. I’m not so sure about the textured version. I think you really need to get into using mental ray and sub surface scattering with custom shaders to get a good realism on the skin. Course, I’ve never really dealt with making a celebrity likeness model. Hopefully you can really nail this. Maybe look into how the guy who did Depp on the top row did his skin and rendering?

I started playing with the skin shader. I’m suprised at how small the numbers need to be to make the result come out alright.

The first posts looks like Bale, the last, doesn´t really, I can´t really tell whats need to be done…other than that its a great sculpt in it´s own way.
