I just got a MacBook 16" and was going to order an inexpensive stylus since the touchpad is supposed to be pressure sensitive. Apparently there’s a possibility Apple will release software to make the Apple pencil compatible with the touchpad. While it is small it’s not smaller then a phone surface which I’ve seen used with forger and I doubt it’s less senssivve then a phone surface. I would love to be able to atleast do some major forms sculpting with just touchpad on my MacBook.
I wanted to find out if using a stylus with the Macbook touchpad can be used as a drawing surface in a pinch as I’m traveling and don’t think I’ll have space to really whip out the Intuous.
Also, and this is just as important, I have 3 Macs and I can only use one at a time. I’m wondering how fast or slow is the license transfer process? Is it an instant thing where I can easily move between the 3 computers in the same day if I needed to?
Depends on what type of license you have.
A single user license can only be activated on two computers at any one time, and only used on one at a time. In order to activate it on a third, you would have to deactivate it on one of the others, then activate it on the new system. The web activation should work fairly quickly, but it will still be a somewhat more cumbersome process than switching between the first two.
