Hey everyone!

I’ve been looking to create a character for 3D printing. I originally intended to create it myself however I feel as though I may not be able to complete the model with satisfactory results in time (or at all :P).

Therefore, I’m looking at getting the model commissioned. The model would need to be complete by April 31st, and an obj/ztl file would need to be transferred (preferably via e-mail) after completion. I’d, of course, provide reference images and a detailed description of the character :stuck_out_tongue:

I was wondering if any artists might be interested in taking on the commission? If so, would it be possible to get a kind of general price, or price list? :slight_smile:

Thanks for the replys (had quite a few via PM). I appreciate all the responses. I’ve now found an artist to fulfil the commission. Sorry to those who didn’t get it, but thanks whence more for the responses :slight_smile:

Hi,

I’m also looking to commission a CAD design of an invention I’ve come up with.

The idea is a set of semicircular pieces of plastic that clip around the inner rings in ring binders. The idea is to correct old/wonky rings in binders without having to take all the papers out and throw away an otherwise good folder.

I call the product Ring Finders.

The design would involve a tubular half doughnut shape, with a cutaway for the metal insides of the binder. There would be bevelled edge to the cutaway to allow the plastic to clip onto the binder rings.
