Lenovo Vs Cintiq (Cintiq user please just a little help)

Hello guys, i been of for tons off years till now, i just bougth a Lenovo Digitizer, i dont know if you all already know about it, its a Digitier monitor conected via USB 3.0 (1 cable) or 2.0 (1 usb to 2 usb out), i been testing it, its is far from perfect, it needs alot of tweaks, i mean is not a mature product, its pressure sens is not comparable to wacom and its almost imposibble to control it, i been testing the s-pen but im not sure if its a viable option or not i saw a video where someone calibrate it using a screwer but i couldnt yet. Tomorrow could be my last day with this device.

I did a video, showing some lag that i wonder if cintiq have this same problem or not, i guess not but i prefer to ask anyway, because i can talk more in deep if you guys are interested, i been testing this device alot.

In the video zbrush show some lag on the firts stroke (this lag can be seen on skecthBook Pro but its lets noticiable), it bother me a little so i wonder if cintiq (in this case Cintiq 13Hd) have this same problem or not, i compared it with my really old graphire and my graphire works perfectly.

I hope you can help me. Thanks in advance.

I’m still using an old Cintiq 21UX, but it does seem to have considerably less lag during quick strokes. The tracking isn’t perfect, but it’s good enough as to not have any noticeable lag unless you’re looking for it. Looks like your pad works well enough if you keep your movement slow enough, but I think you would definitely benefit from a Cintiq. If I were you I would take a look at the 21UX, it has a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200, which I knows is pretty low by modern standards, but it’s always worked great for me and at this point you can probably find them at a significantly lower price.

That lag didn’t look all that bad to me. Your slow strokes were what I consider more like medium speed, and the lag wasn’t very much in my opinion. The pressure sensitivity issue you describe would bother me much more.

Thanks very much for your opinion guys… i really apreciate it.

I havent buyed a Cintiq because im not a professional modeler, at the moment i do it just for fun, but i been really curious to live the experince to draw directly on the screen. This monitor is cheap compared to any Cintiq version present and past models so thats why i took the chance to get it and try it.

If someone want to know about this tablet i will do a review in deep. It have his flaws and its adventages.

Sorry for my english, i try my best XD.

Once again, thanks very much.
