Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess: Link

Hey everyone!

I can’t stand waiting on the game to come out so I figured I’d model Link out from the concept sketches.

This is what I have so far at about 120k a piece (maya can’t handle the highest res)…still going…(pants…argh)

Its awesome so far! Looking forward to the texturing.

cool stuff man… nothing much to say at the present stage… maybe jus u might want to give that crease on the upper lip (cant remember if zelda has it) as will u be working more on the arm… hair is good and the model strikes out as zelda without even mentioning the name…

that´s very cool! keep it goin´! i notice only a problem with the anatomy of her legs though, the muscle aren´t right, i guess!

i really don´t understand why maya can´t handle a decent amount of geometry- i mean, maya won´t even import a mesh with more than 1000000 polys- and anyway, i don´t really understand how this works in maya. for a model that has 1000000 polys in zb, i´ll have almoust 1500000 in maya!???why? i tried with xsi, and there i can go up to 2000000 native zb polys (faces) without problems!!!

Okay, lets just get things strate. That is NOT Zelda. If the figure has anything to do with that Game series it is Link. And Link is a boy not a girl.

As far as the legs go, I think the cloth that interacts with the knee is off but fix that and its great.

And yes please texture. Really interested in seeing this finished.
