Leaf Example Script.

I made a plumaria leaf while makeing this script… but when script plays back it makes a citrus leaf :slight_smile: LOL at least it is in my favour :slight_smile: I am now makeing a lime tree soon :slight_smile:

For some reason the axis XY and Z cords get knocked out of whack slightly…

But anyways Here is a script ,

script will model a leaf

will show you an easy way to texture the leaf without useing texturemaster…

tweak the bump in the material to make the veins stickout …

and will remove stains from soiled linnens LMAO
it slices , it dices , its polarises LEAF O MATIC! WOOT! (call the nurse he is doing it again)

Thanks Polaris30 I like the way your are working with ZB and I like a lot your attitude for share the way you work, I have say many time that ZB is unique, among other properties, in that you can record your work and that make more easy the “learning curve of the art”.

Yea, I love the script recorder…

I have made scripts for other applications, and had to manualy type them in… Zbrushes recorder is pretty cool!

I am haveing some problems with it though… for some reason the script moves the piviot and knocks the model I was working on off the XY or Z cords… so by the time most of my scripts are done, the object is grossly distorted and nothing like what i was makeing when recording the script.

This script dose it too, but not too bad, the leaf it makes looks good enough, and the methods I wanted to show are shown.

Polaris Im not sure about the pivot but probably with out notice you move it

Ummm, later today I am going to sit down and watch all the scripts that do it closely, and see if ther is any realitivity to what tool, setting, tweaks ECT… maby I can see what I am doing and then just not do that anymore :slight_smile:

I find scripts go awry if…

You have too many programmes open.
Windows has been open to long…reboot.
If you have had a number of Zbrush sessions before the recording. close Zbrush then reopen.

I have never had a problem with scripts since I have been keeping an eye on the above things.

OK,

I think you got it ED!

I usualy have tunes running in background… I listen to shoutcast while I work… I also have a bunch of tweaks and plugins running with it…

I am going to try restarting, and listening to my home system…
