Lazy Mouse help

So when I try and use the damien standard brush with lazy mouse instead of getting a steady straight line I get broken up dots, now I have tried switching to free hand and dots, and all the different settings. Is there something I am mission? I want lazy mouse to help me get a straight edge not a bunch of dots. Thanks

With the Dam_Standard brush selected, go to ‘Stroke > Lazy Mouse’ and click on the ‘LazyStep’ slider so the red box appears. Type in 0.05 and hit Enter.
